One of my dearest friends, Natascha Artang, and I will be co-teaching this workshop in the spirit of celebrating female friendship and honoring the bonds between women. Natascha is an artist who has been recently experimenting with needle felting, so I asked her to come down and teach a fun Valentine’s Day project. She will provide all the tools, materials and instruction necessary for each participant to make 3 needle-felted hearts that may be hung by a branch to create a lovely Valentine’s Day wall hanging.  

There will then be a break where participants have the chance to socialize in the formal dining room over pomegranate mimosas and/or  tea and treats while Mercedes prepares for the second part of the class.

Mercedes will then be teaching the second part of the workshop, which will be a simple lesson in how to create a little bouquet of tulips and seasonal greens wrapped up pretty and ready to gift to a friend or take home for yourself. It is a simple skill that you can use all year to create little bundles of flowers to take to friends. 

The workshop is meant to be a leisurely, relaxing class from 1-4 pm, so bring a friend - or simply treat yourself - to an afternoon spent celebrating friendship, art, flowers and creativity along with me and my friend Natascha!
